How to listen AM radio and shortwave broadcasts on hallicrafters S-21.
This fine old receiver made in 1939, in original drab livery (could be described as dried mud), tunes to two VHF bands, 25 to 40 Mc/s and 38 to 66Mc/s and has all the features one would expect in a communications receiver.
This is a VHF machine, but I tried to receive MW and SW.
Medium wave radio broadcasts and shortwaves receive a 7MHz SSB Ham Radio.
I didn't want to modify the main body, so I decided to attach an up converter externally.
